Magni is the most affordable machine in the line-up, designed for web-browsing, email, and word processing duties. It's based around the latest AMD Athlon II and Phenom II CPUs, with NVIDIA's excellent GeForce 8200 chipset. We've also made the ATI Radeon 785G chipset available which allows for even better overclocks with ACC support.

Magni comes in a Lian-Li PC-351VB that is pictured to the side. It provides excellent cooling capabilities in a very small Micro-ATX form factor.

The basic Athlon II is great for surfing the web and email, but some people need more. Crank up the CPU to get work done quicker.

NVIDIA is the recommended chipset, but the ATI has a bit more punch in the GPU while sacrificing USB and SATA performance.

Do you keep a lot of programs open or run virutal machines? Windows 7 runs fine on 2GB, but 4GB is recommended.

A dedicated graphics card is mostly for games, but can also accelerate video operations and photo manipulation.

The hard drive is the best place to put your dollars for all-over performance increases.
