Njord i5 is our ultimate work machine, specially suited for Windows 7. You can customize this machine with up to an Intel Core i7 870 CPU, upgrade to Level 2 CPU Cooling and crank this chip's four HyperThreading cores to over 4.0GHz for well under $2000. This is enough speed to encode a DVD at a staggering 275 frames/sec, making quick work of video projects or DVD rips. It is also the basis for an excellent gaming system, with room for up to a GTX 260 inside or a DirectX 11-capable Radeon HD 5850.

Njord is also our most popular system due to the unique Lian-Li PC-A05BN case. This case measures in at 8.25" x 15" x 19.5", making it one of the smallest full-ATX enclosures available. With it's rear-to-front airflow, the processor gets cold air directly fed into its cooler, and extra fans can be installed either in the top or side when GPU's require extra air.

All Njord i5 boards sport the P55 chipset, but you can upgrade to USB 3 and SATA 6Gb/s and more overclocking-friendly options.

Do you keep a lot of programs open or run virutal machines? Windows 7 runs fine on 2GB, but 4GB is recommended.
