I've been using EVGA Precision to overclock my Nvidia 9500 GT.  I mainly use while playing LOTRO (MMO), and until now have been enjoying the on-screen feedback (GPU temp, time, etc.) while in game.  The on-screen feature worked fine with Window 7 Beta, but since I've upgraded to RC1, I've lost the on-screen functionality.  I've altered the settings, including application detection level, and downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers and EVGA release, but can't seem to regain the on-screen display.  Any similar problems with other RC1 users?

Hello, and welcome to the forums irishflute!

I love the EVGA Precision utility and I think I may have even posted about it earlier, but that was back in the 1.0 days. I hadn't taken the time to reinstall since I moved to RC1, so I just grabbed the 1.7.1 installer and fired up some Team Fortress 2 to check it out (only game I've got on there so far). The on-screen temp display worked just fine, so I'm thinking it's just with DirectX 10 games, like LOTRO. If we can narrow it down a bit, it might help them to release a patch.

I'll get that installed and report back with those results a little later. MoM is a big download!

I setup EVGA's Precision on my Server 2008 machine, and it also has trouble displaying the OSD in LOTRO. That was with some ancient 178 drivers, so I'm going to update and play around some more. Still no word from the 7 machine, but this is starting to look like a LOTRO thing, rather than a DX9 or DX10 thing.

More to come...
